The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration in partnership with Liberty Healthcare is leading the State of Maryland in pursuit of Person-Centered Excellence Network Accreditation from the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL).

The goal of achieving accreditation is to enhance person-centered service delivery and improve life outcomes for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a Quality Reviewer, you will be an active contributor in this exciting and impactful initiative.

This is a field-based position which will require you travel regularly throughout the region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting with people in service as well as their families and guardians
  • Meeting with people who work at residential, day service and CCS provider organizations
  • Conducting provider reviews to determine alignment with person-centered principles and CMS regulations
  • Data collection and report writing
  • Participating in various quality improvement initiatives
  • Partnering with people in service to conduct National Core Indicator Surveys
  • Collaborating with other Liberty Quality Reviewers

You can expect a salary of $55,000, thirty days of paid time off annually, reimbursement for approved work-related mileage and travel expenses, benefits and other perks.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • At least four years of experience supporting the needs of people who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities or lived-experience as someone with a disability
  • Knowledge of person-centered practices
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills
  • Consultative approach and ability to achieve rapport with a wide array of individuals

You are encouraged to apply if you’ve worked as a Community Support Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Care Coordinator, Advocate, Direct Support Professional, Registered Behavior Technician, or in a personal support role.

You must have a driver’s license and insured vehicle which you can use for work-related travel.

Travel will span the State of Maryland with the majority in Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Price Georges and Frederick Counties.
