Job Description
Salary: $2080 / Week
There is a need for In-person Speech- Language Pathologist Assistants to work in a school setting in California. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree, or have a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
+ Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract
+ Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice
+ One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred;
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Part Time and Full Time Positions Available:
+ W-2 Employer
+ Weekly Pay on Friday's
+ ASAP Start
+ $50-60/Hour- Pay dependent upon district location, experience, student caseload
+ Hours between 7am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday
+ Benefits Available
+ Do not carry own case load (provide support for SLPs and log minutes)
